Breakfast for Dinner
For a nice break for your wallet in addition to your time in the kitchen, try making breakfast recipes for dinner. There's something so comforting about eating eggs, pancakes, or French toast at night. Get everybody into their jammies and eat dinner in front of the fireplace. While you're at it, get out some board games and make it a cozy family night. What a great way to start the weekend.Photo © 2010 Linda Larsen, licensed to About.com, Inc. Five Ingredient Soups
Soups are perfect for this strange time of year, when it can be 60 degrees one day and snowing the next. (Or is that just Minnesota?) These quick and easy soups are super quick because each uses five ingredients or less. My personal favorite is Tomato Tortellini Soup. Make it using chunky tomato soup instead of cream of tomato soup for even more texture and flavor. Serve any soup with an easy savory bread for a complete meal.Photo © 2010 Linda Larsen, licensed to About.com, Inc.
